Steve McCurry

June 17 was a break in my life as a photographer. Steve McCurry was in Penang, and I flew in straight from Singapore to greet him over dinner hosted by the US Embassy at E&O.

After dinner, I had this private session of around 20 minutes with the master, absorbing as much shooting tips as I could. He advocates natural lighting. It's an immense personal gain for me that many should envy.
