Malaysia Today today...
Many people across the country can't access RPK's Malaysia Today.
Many people, especially TM Net users, think that it's intentionally done to frustrate online readers.
Perhaps you should get around the TM Net sentry by trying this URL: mt.harapanmalaysia.com.

This is how it was blocked.

In laymen term, TMnet modify their DNS resolvers to provide their version of "malaysia-today.net".
To overcome it, you use this two DNS resolvers.
208.67.222.222
203.120.90.60
If you are system administrator, go edit your router configuration to use that two public DNS server. Don't use the automatic assigned one by TMnet.
Hope that help.
Of course, meanwhile you can use mt.harapanmalaysia.com as options.

Correct me if i'm wrong but I believe you can't access to Bloggers aka Blogspot websites in China...
Maybe our country is slowly downgrading to a communism-capitalism...
I hope it's a pleasant mistake by TMnet...

Malaysian Insider website was not accessible as well. Getting HTTP 404 Not Found error. This might not be due to the same problem that Malaysia Today faces.

Dear Jeff,
Correct me if I am wrong... I think the URL that you put for Malaysia Today is wrong.
What I have here is http://www.malaysia-today.net/
But the URL you put is http://www.malaysiatoday.net/
Missing dash -
Best regards,
Jovis
JEFF OOI says: Corrected. Thanks.

I am a streamyx user and I am affected. I am now on the lookout for another ISP and while at it, I have made the decision to 'buy' TM last in the future. Do join me, my fellow affected Malaysians.

MalaysiaKini news: "In a rare move, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has ordered all internet service providers (ISPs) to block controversial online portal Malaysia Today."
Even though I now know that MCMC is the culprit. I still do not look kindly on TM not fighting for it's users using the MSC no censorship guarantee.
