Hot potatoes
UPDATED VERSION, 12:18HR MP for Ipoh Timur (DAP - Lim Kit Siang) has submitted a notice to adjourn the House under Standing Order 18 (1) and to call for an emergency motion to discuss Malaysia Today editor Raja Petra Kamarudin’s allegations that Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak's wife Rosmah Mansor and 2 others witnessed Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu being blown up.

Paja Petra stated it in a statutory declaration filed at the High Court here on June 18.
It's about what The Star now coded as affairs involving three "individuals, one a prominent VIP, (who) were present when Altantuya was killed on Oct 19, 2006".
After over 72 hours of deafening silence, the IGP and the Attorney-General came up to the Press to react.
IGP Musa Hassan said RPK, and the three individuals named in the document, would be called up for investigation.
This blog would refrain from the details as the IGP had warned that the matter could be subjudice as the Altantuya murder trial is on going.
But let's see how the parties handle the hot potatoes, and how it would affect the power-play in the politically-besieged Umno where the No. 1 and No. 2 are facing the arrows of different kind.
