Finance Minister... good speed ;-)

UPDATED VERSION, 5:20PM. MP Tony Pua, my colleague who sits besides me in the Parliament, has his oral question cued for No. 17 out of 95 to be answered yesterday, June 23. This is what he asked the Finance Minister, who is also the Prime Minister, before the date for the submission of questions closed on June 2:

PR-1212-L14229

Usually, only 90 minutes are allocated every day the Parliament is in session for the oral questions to be answered by the relevant ministers, followed by a maximum of three supplementary questions, and answers by the ministers again, with debates in between.

On a fine day, about 10 oral questions can be answered in the House due to time constraint. Those unanswered in the House will be provided written answers, on the SAME DAY.

This is what Tony Pua -- and all of us -- received today for his oral question unanswered yesterday, in the form of compilation of all 95 oral questions cued for June 23:

JAWAPAN BELUM DITERIMA DARIPADA KEMENTERIAN YANG BERKENAAN.
(Anwer not yet received from the relevant Ministry.)

Good for you, Mr Finance Minister, for your good speed.

UPDATES: About 6 hours after I put up this blog, around 5:20pm just now, Tony finally received the unanswered oral question in written form. It was not circulated to the rest of the MPs.

In summary, the Finance Minister stated that...

etc etc etc...

I will try to blog if the Finance Minister is caught sleeping again.

Attitudes are hard to change despite the results of the 12GE. So long as they remain in power the Opposition will still be demonised and things will remain pretty much as opaque as it were before.

is that ;-) supposed to mimic Tony Pua???

Is the Minister asleep? Having two portfolios states that you are competent to do the job with no let ups.

Is the PM sleeping on the wheel?

My perception of AAB is of Robert Mugabe in the making. Not that serious but soon. Perhaps UMNO has already gone down that road since Dr. M

so all the pix i saw in the internet showing him napping is true afterall?

It is good for you to poke needle at the Finance Ministry as I believe they are busy sleeping all the while wasting public money and introducing ridiculous ruling like the one in Parliament sandwiching all reporters or journalists at one designating place.

The answer is hardly an answer. Any accounts clerk can give Tony this answers.

I was watching the BBC and their house of commons proceeding. It makes me wonder how come some MPs in Malaysia behaves like monkeys.

The answers given by any secretary is always a good answer and very specific short answers.

Unlike AAB. Sigh :S

INTERNET does not operate in a legal vacuum.
