Jelutong

This is my first Internet login in over 36 hours.

DAP has announced my candidacy for Jelutong parliamentary seat. So The Star report was right.

If Koh Tsu Koon comes here, then reports in the vernacular newspapers will be correct as well.

UPDATES: Now, the core campaign team and ops centre are in place. We will be giving refresher course to the campaign volunteers soon. We need about 200. Those can volunteer to help, irrespective of experience, please bounce me an email at jeff001 @ jeffooi.com. Thanks.

More.

Congrats Jeff! Penang needs you!

Just heard the Gopeng candidate's dad paid 5 years' salary in advance to the former MP to give way to his son to contest. The candidate is practically throwing money around the new villages, party workers and supporters.

He was the culprit who bankrupted Omega and Uniphoenix in the late 90s. His style of living is fun, sex and wine. That's what the Chinese papers said. Anyway, I can now take my revenge on him for making me lose a few thousand. I have been campaining against him in my office, with my friends, and anybody who is interested.

Tsu Khoon go to Bt Kawan. I shall be back to Pg on 7th march and help out.

Put up a mobile stall at the Jelutong morning open wet market, make it prominent with a big flag from the second entrance as well, and welcome the people there. Adjourn for nonya kuih at four at the other roofed market nearby.

Good luck, Jeff!

Well Jeff.

Good to hear that you are in my territory and I will try my best to help you to get my relatives vote !!!

Whoever stood in your way doesn't matter.

Show to the public, prove to the public and serve the public well. I'm sure you will win

hey, jelutong is one of the 3 constituencies we, MAFREL (malaysian for free and fair election) volunteers will be observing.

jeff you said you are going to help me with the publicity by blogging on it but i guess you were too busy, so don't mind if i put a link here? response for penang island is quite good but not mainland, so we are very in need of volunteers for the mainland.

all the best to you, jeff!

Good luck... we need people like you...

tony pua just came to my house on his rounds of the neighbourhood of section 20, petaling jaya ... dap headquarters also look busy.

Good to see people like Tony and yourself in the mix of things ...

May the road rise to meet you;
May the wind be always at your back;
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields,
and until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His Hand.

jeff how is the collection coming along?

Good luck .. Jeff !!
Long Live DAP ...

welcome to penang. :)

Gerakan's candidate for Jelutong is Dr. Thor Tiong Ghee. He's a local councilor whom has been praised by DAP's Ng Wei Aik as 'best local councilor'. Though a new face, but not easy to take.

Congratulations, Jeff. Sure would like to see you in Parliament representing Penang, voicing out & speaking intelligently against 'em BN morons...It's high time that Malaysia got out from mediocrity & embrace globalisation in its truest sense. I believe you are the right candidate with other bloggers to undertake this important task.
May the force be with you, Jeff.

Jeff...go for it.

Godspeed.

I live in jelutung, my question..would you shift your base to penang?Be is jelutung or anywhere around here.Move to penang i mean frm KL if you are elected.

JEFF OOI says: hehe, I had a residential home in Butterworth since the 1980's.

Good Luck, jeff! i truly support you,If i stay Penang, l will give you one vote , you are successful blogger win in parliament!can give me a bet, if you win, l will go as a supporter blogger member in DAP in my Sarawak Kuching here.

Congrats, Jeff! Here's hoping that you win in Jelutong.

I am hoping that by posting on your blog, we can find out if the PM really did say that Malaysia is ranked 8th in competitiveness according to an unnamed international survey.

According to a report in the Singapore Straits Times, he said this during a speech in Penang earlier this week.

I did not see any report on this in the Malaysian papers, only some facile remarks about comparing grapes and apples.

I am surprised that the opposition did not call the PM to task on this claim about Malaysia's international competitiveness.

Pak Lah has made so many lies until the people and the opposition has lost count of them, so probably that's why no one is asking him to prove his claims.

INTERNET does not operate in a legal vacuum.
