'Ee chiak lu, lu pun um chai'... ( 2 )
Thaipusam will be a public holiday extended to Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya from now on, PM Abdullah Badawi announced today.
Have community issues surfaced by Hindraf Rally been solved, and resolved, once and for all? Has the community been fighting only to have an extra day off, by the way?
Or is this another episode of 'Ee chiak lu, lu pun um chai' to hoodwink people? I hope my Indian-Malaysian brethren can enlighten us what this is all about.

'Ee chiak lu, lu pun um chai'...
Ee Hor Lang Chiak Ko Ai Hor Lang Chiak chi si lang.
When a minister retired, he has to talk with his conscience and not still stay as a fool to cheat all his fellow Malaysians. A vote to the ruling means you agree to price increase and also what the government is doing. Opposition needs to penetrate on the daily issues rather than to go into deep political issues where laymen could not understand. Enough is enough go for the wind of change.

Also on the agenda of superficial solutions to deep rooted problems...
The Ministry of Arts, Culture and Heritage is organising an event called "Kempen Budibahasa and Nilai Nilai Murni dengan Masyarakat India"...
I shall refrain from making any commentary...

Strange, I can somehow still hear how the racist remarks made by some UMNO politicians just a few months ago telling the Indians and the Chinese to go back to India and China. Now, Samy and Badawi wants the Indians to vote for them? How many promises were made during the last election and were NEVER kept? After the elections and if BN wins, it is deja vu time, "I cannot recall making those promises" syndrome will happen again. Or, "you don't like it, you Indians and Chinese can go back to India and China!"

What more can I say?
I'm just shakin my head in pure disbelief. Is Samy and Bodohwi so lost that they think a partial Holiday is going to be 'major anmouncement' that can bring votes to BN in the droves?
For heaven sakes it is 2008 and ppl no longer live on tree tops (oh how the gomen would love to keep them there and continue to fool them). But reality is far much complicated. The issues especially the Indian community is facing needs much much more focused and affirmative actions. Not some stupid, silly, self-satisfying events.
I guess I finally believe this:
'There is no medicine for stupidity'.
Apparently Sami(aka Stupidsami) and Badawi (aka Bodohwi) have ultimately proven it.
Please read the details of the most pathetic
'Drama minggu ini oleh MIC'
(For the people, by the fools, from the fools)
http://harismibrahim.wordpress.com/2008/01/21/drama-minggu-ini-dipersembahkan-oleh-mic/
And all these stupidity happening post 50 years of independance. Our forefathers are crying in their graves now..
May God Save Malaysia.

“We discussed this matter. They said that during Thaipusam there would be traffic jams everywhere in Kuala Lumpur and it is difficult to get to work. So let it be a holiday,” he said to cheers from the crowd.

I can't believe this words come from so called beloved Prime Minister.
BN Government gives holiday for Thaipusam not because to respect Hindu's religious event, but because "there would be traffic jams everywhere"
Hidup Malaysia... and Malaysia Boleh!!!
