If an Indonesian can be a bumiputra (son of soil), why not Malaysian born MAMAK.

If mamak can be bumiputra why not the Malacca nonyas?
Why have a bumi/non bumi dichotomy? Aren't we all born here and are sons of soil as our malay brothers?

Yes Jan ... agree with you. We'll are born here but we're not indigenous people. Thats why indigenous non Muslims in Sabah and Sarawak are being recognised as son of soil. How about orang asli ?
