I think it's a problem with Google's servers, or our connection from Malaysia to Google's servers anyway. I have problems with Gmail too, as well as YouTube which is associated with Google.

jeff, basically the connection to within the country, malaysia, is ok ...

however if you connect externally, it's crawling including blogspot and the rest of overseas websites ...

if you happen to have luck with overseas website, chances are either it's on your cache or it was mirrored to other locations "not affected" by some bizarre reasons ...

I've been having big problems with Gmail too.

Google homepage has been erratic too with my favourites disappearing.

I can read Gmail but I can't send, I keep getting some 007 error.

I don't know anything about east or west coast of USA, but I can access my gmail account fine. However, I have a personal domain using Google Apps For Your Domain, and the gmail for the domain is extremely slow the past day or so.

Mine is intermittent.

couldn't login to gmail using IE but it's fine with Firefox.

i can get into my Gmail account.. just a bit slow...

so, i am not alone. Access to gmail & other google services with Celcom 3G even worse. Google.talk also not functioning :( But access to yahoo email & yahoo services r better, why.

Another alternative way I've been trying, opening Gmail thru Gtalk, it works, really.

yep i had been having problems with gmail from 2 days ago. can't load completely. can only get html view where i can't scroll down at all. anyway, hours ago, after some troubleshooting from its site itself, i did some cache clearing and it seems to work fine now.

when i had problems accessing gmail, yes also got problems accessing blogs using blogger.

now evreything's fine but hopefully it will stay fine.

I've notice intermittent connection issues for the past 2 days from 11am till around 3pm. I have done basic network speed tests at www.speedtest.net and the results for local KL server are as norm, whilst test to Norther America server fluctuated wildly.

Gmail work on and off for me whilst my Google Apps worked fine. As for standard surfing though a times slow, I suffered issues only with video streaming.

I can suggest that Malaysian internet surfers would be better served if they utilize OpenDNS located at www.opendns.com.
