Trading volume dropped to 2007's lowest

KLCI shed 11.16 points to close at 1,278.34. Losers led gainers by 793 to 176.

Trading volume dropped from 8.x million lots last week to 6,008,199 lots today, the lowest record for the year.

balloning stock markets and other assets such as properties only divert money away from productive usage such as investments in plants and machinery and job creation.
