What Judiciary Crisis? When solid evidence is forthcoming Nazri dismissed it as “Allegations … were the work of opposition parties” and insisted the Video clip need to be verified first. And the show goes on; the 3-member Probe panel is set up and their credibility is questioned.
Now PKR stated Haidar, has a conflict of interest as a trustee of Dr M’s Perdana Leadership Foundation in addition to his tainted background: Immediately after the removable of Lord President Tun Salleh Abas and senior Supreme Court Judges Tan Sri Suleiman and Datuk George Seah in 1988, Tan Sri Haidar was appointed a Judge of the High Court in Borneo. He returned to the High Court in Malaysia and was elevated to the Court of Appeal and subsequently to the Federal Court before his appointment as Chief Judge of the High Court in Malaysia.
All Najib can assured is: “Do not question their integrity. There is no question of the `other' camp (appointment from among the opposition). Do not politicise their appointment”
Haidar: "We can't stop people from questioning our credibility. I have a job to do and I will do it."
This is just like a penalty kick that is taken not by the opposing team but from your own team. The outcome is predictable unless you believe what Datuk Shanker said: “we will give you a conscientious and honest answer”
