PKFZ: Tun Razak would have turned in his grave (or swimming pool)
UPDATED VERSION. Dewan Rakyat speaker Ramli Ngah Talib today rejected the ‘urgent motion’ put by Opposition Leader Lim Kit Siang to debate the RM4.6 billion bailout of the troubled Port Klang Free Zone as Parliament resumed. Via Malaysiakini:
"The government is looking into the matter and as such there is no need to debate it in Parliament," said Ramli in disallowing the debate. In an immediate reaction, [...] Lim said he was undaunted.
“I will continue to demand full and proper accountability for the scandal in the current budget meeting of Parliament,” said the veteran opposition leader, who is DAP MP for Ipoh Timur.

Razak Hussein, Malaysia's second prime minister on, was known to have time for two types of exercise to stay healthy: swimming and golf.
But it was only swimming that he could do daily, but that, too, was messy as the public pool at the Lake Club had to be 'swept' (for security), and citizen club members had to be chased away whenever he wanted to make the laps.
It was narrated at a public forum recently that a swimming pool was built at his official residence at the cost of $60,000, the money then.
But Razak called off the plan as he had felt that the estimated $60,000 to build the swimming pool could be better used for building three rural health clinics.
Comparing to the RM4.6 billion PKFZ scandal, the Parliamentary Opposition Leader said Razak "would have recoiled in horror" if the ex-premier could feel the vibs of the day.
Urgent motion in Parliament
It is heard that today, when the Dewan Rakyat reconvenes, an emergency motion would be tabled to debate the RM4.6 billion PKFZ scandal as a matter of urgent public interest. Let's if the BN-dominated Parliament will accede to doing what is right.

Folks
The Executive is irresponsible and remains unaccountable to the scandals and taxpayers money.
The reason: Malaysians had voted in BN since 1957 and arrogance has turned to absolute arrogance.
The arrogance of this BN-Govt came from the courtesy of the voters of MCA, UMNO and MIC. Blame yourself.
We even have the UMNO backbenchers, including the most biased Dewan Speaker, who are equally unaccountable to Parliament.
Isn't this a Fascist State run by a Fascist Govt?
All this distraction that Malaysia is an Islamic State is to divert the attention of Malaysians that they are being ruled by the philosophy of Fascism.
It is Fascism nurtured by UMNO.
Fascism is associated to Hitler and the Nazis and to Mussolini who was given an public execution by the people.
Nazism is associated with racial politics and enforced racial superiority over others in pre wartime Germany.
It seems UMNO leaders have taken a leaf from the book on Fascism and Nazism.
Go and read what is Fascism and juxtapose to the policies of this UMNO-led Govt. 90 % of it will be similar.

The only way to check on the government is to have a strong opposition.
The present BN lead government thinks that they are all untouchable.
In the next coming election hope that will lose their two third majority.
I will defenite vote for the opposition irrespective whether it is DAP, PAS, Keasilan or Independent.

Once the coffer is dried up, I will migrated to Far Far AwayLand to enjoy my fruits of labour, like what my predecessors once did long long time ago. The world is my olyster"
