'theSun is DAP supporter, fighting for Malaysian Malaysia'
Watch this. A minister in the Abdullah Administration is blaring out loud:
"To say that theSun newspaper is a champion of Bangsa Malaysia shows that Dr Lim Keng Yaik sympathises with the newspaper which has all this while fought more for (the DAP's) 'Malaysian Malaysia'."In many issues, theSun newspaper has touched on matters that offend the Malays, including the special rights of the Malays, the New Economic Policy (NEP), the social contract among the races that was agreed upon before Merdeka and also the question of unity in the society,"
"theSun has also published articles which leaked government secrets. They have also blown up the issue of the proposal to repeal the Common Law and published articles rejecting the proposal when it had not been decided whether to implement it," he said.
"What is theSun up to? Are they fighting for a Malaysian Malaysia? Is this what (Datuk Seri Dr) Lim Keng Yaik says is a newspaper that fights for Bangsa Malaysia?"
Don't get me wrong. The above quote is attributed to the Information Minister, as reported by none other than theSun.

I am sick of this. Since Armno love to demonise those who are not agree with them; who dare to expose their corruptions, it is time to give them a new label : Corrupted M*l*y.
Now corrupted M*l*y try to use shun and demonise the Sun from exposing their corruption. If the people still want the corrupted M*l*y to rob the country, it is their choice to support another corrupted M*l*y newspaper such as NaSTy, U-turn-San, etc.
Yes, we know the Sun has touch all corrupted M*l*y on act, such as abusing NEP to cover their corruptions. And don't forget corrupted M*l*y also use religion as the sheep skin.
Alas, since the robust law are not within the control fo corrupted M*l*y, they start using excuses of embracing common law to cover up their corruptions.

Sounds like a threat to suspend theSun and kick out Gerakan from BN component party. And our PM and his new wife enjoying gardening at their official residence, Seri Perdana.
It remind a joke,
A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is politics?"
Dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I'm the breadwinner of the family, so let's call me capitalism. Your Mom, she's the administrator of the money, so we'll call her the Government. We're here to take care of your needs, so we'll call you the people. The nanny, we'll consider her the Working Class. And your baby brother, we'll call him the Future. Now, think about that and see if that makes sense,"
So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what dad had said.
Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parents' room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room. Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed. The next morning, the little boy says to his father, "Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now."
The father says, "Good son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about."
The little boy replies, "Well, while Capitalism is screwing the Working Class, the Government is sound asleep, the People are being ignored and the Future is in deep poo."

Halo Mr Information Minister, a Malaysian Malaysia is not only what DAP wants, it is what many malaysian wants. I guess you can associate anyone who is not inline with your thinking as the opposition. If that is the case, then you are in deep shit coz' you had just became the minority. Knock! knock! wake up bro!

Simply put the honourable minister is simply unfit to hold the portfolio of Information Ministry. His thinking is so illogic, his rhetoric is so racist and his approach is so "coldwar".
In short, he not only embarrassed himself but also the whole cabinet for uttering such laughing words.
Minister of Dis-information and Mis-information he is but certainly not Minister of Information cos he himself is incapable of understanding information.

Any newspaper that exposes corruption, unfairness and injustice is considered opposition mouthpiece? The information Minister himself has also being propagating untruth news to the rakyat. Must all the newspaper in the country echo the government's view and has no right to expose corruption?

Oh please. You actually believe anything spewing from the mouth of that Minister of Misinformation and Propaganda?
I think we are all trying to strive for a Malaysian Malaysia, it's just that our definitions are different.
The Malays want their privileges to be maintained, whereas most of the Chinese and Indians view these privileges as a way to make them all second class citizens.
Considering the birth and marriage rate is down for all races other than the Malays, the future would probably be one of continuing current government supremacy.

Zam is quoted as having said, ""In many issues, theSun newspaper has touched on matters that offend the Malays, including the special rights of the Malays, the New Economic Policy (NEP), the social contract among the races that was agreed upon before Merdeka and also the question of unity in the society,"
He does not give specific references. He does not produce any one article that is insensitive to the Malay.
Yes surely The Sun has highlighted Zam's good friend, Zakaria Deros' mischief. As well as the mischeif that is happening in the sports Ministry. And lets not forget the Klang Port Authority's Free Trade Zone project. Of course we cannot forget the hounding by the Sun of MPPJ, MPSJ, MPSA and so on. All these are hurting crooks who happen to be Malay. Does that mean The Sun is insensitive to Malays?
Hello!, the Malays are taxpayers too and it is also their money that is being misspent by the authorites including the municipalities. Obviously, Zam clearly intends the Malay to be riled up even though the race was never tageted. Is that the best defence of the real issue that Zam can profer?

Jeff,
I dont agree that Govt should have secret. We are democratic country, everything must be transparent, upfront and rationale. Govt may only keep secret things that affect the country defense (that about it). Other than that it must be upfront to the people. If BN is voted out, I want to know what they other secrets they have kept us out. Thank you Jeff for Parliament!

Well, the Sun is trying to fulfill a desperately-needed economic niche.
Apparently the economic niche isn't (relatively) honest reporting, it's supporting DAP.
Funny how that works.

New brooms sweep clean but old mops just malaprop.
MOPs or ministers of propaganda are different from their peers, the ministers of information. MOIs inform; MOPs just hoodwink the citizens to tow the line. The modus operandi of both are mutually exclusive. MOIs are humble and will bite the bullet when informing the citizen that the government has made another mistake but MOPs will instead wax eloquent on why it should be the citizens who need to bite the bullet that is fired by the government, otherwise the bullet will ricochet and hit the culprits instead. Since we are in a new era of feudalistic fascism, that would be a no-no.
Zam is an ex-journalist. He knows how important information is to the rakyat. For instance, without information on billboards, we'll now all be zombies staring every day at nonsensical stuff while commuting. Where trees and foliage should be, there will be nothing but wood and plastic advertising things too many can't afford because the taxes they would have saved have instead been parlayed to sponsor sports clubs and junket trips and trinkets of a privileged few without their knowing.
And without information, the people who will be plying new tolls will continue to enjoy the privilege of easy travel but at increasing cost, until the end of the lifetimes of their great grandchildren.
And without information, we won't know that a bright future beckons this state which is being reborn. When the oilfields dry up, that future will shift gear to rearing goats and growing herbs. Entrepreneurs are already designing the next two-in-one goats-and-herbs device.
But some will have us believe that it will be grave for the nation if exalted propaganda reduces to banal information. They argue if the rakyat know the truth and the facts, this nation will be lost. Who cares anyway if we continue to lose billions through this government, they console themselves? After all, it knows best for the rakyat. After all, didn't they elect it to office and continued triumph?
That is why propaganda is important. If the pembangkang says X, the government must say Y, regardless whether X is greater than Y in the eyes of the rakyat. Thus if those nettlesome pembangkangs say 'malaysian malaysia', the umno government must say 'malay malaysia'. That is logical, isn't it? Don't they teach malaysians frege and wittgenstein in pre-u?
But real MOIs will retort. Why shouldn't the rakyat debate things before they are implemented? They argue the rakyat weren't given the chance to ask how the RM103 million LCCT was planned that it has now to be relocated after one year, presumably at another RM1.7 billion, and again disconected from KLIA. They humbly add that rakyat weren't given the chance to ask how were the MRR2, PKFZ, mobile operators, MRT, etc etc contracts awarded, or for that matter the decision to start Proton, Perwaja, Bakun, KLCC, etc etc. So these real dungu MOIs will also ask why should the rakyat sit idly by and not debate issues such as the NEP or the rumble of doing away with common law when in the former case, a professional study was done which revealed disturbing facts even grudglingly agreed by an increasing proportion of the community the policy was to benefit, and in the latter case the rumble was caused by the same personage who now has to answer on the evidence produced against what he contended in order to deny the state of presumably the last bastion of integrity of this nation.
But the MOPs will not take this seated. They rise and say some of the media have become more 'fair' to the government. Heck, they argue, if Parliament can deny a debate on PKFZ because it is going to solved by a soft loan from the government which will come from funds extricated by hook or by crook, what's the problem of redefining 'fair' to be 'tow the line or else'?
Suddenly realising that this impasse is unhelpful for national unity and longterm good of the rakyat, both MOP and MOI decide to meet. Unfortunately, they still have not acted on the directive to do weekly maintenance. A piece of ceiling fell on the MOP's head. He wakes up in a grog and mutters:
'yes, you are right; we should practise the policy of inclusion instead of faking that all is sundry and well; bite the bullet, tell the rakyat the truth, and let's all work together to overcome ourselves to make this nation great again.'
But as we would have it with luck in this country, a second piece of ceiling also fell on the MOI's head moments later; he wakes up groggily and says:
'But what are you saying? I am the MOP, not you, and what you have said is treasonous to national interest. After all, the rakyat elected us to do the job and so they must comply with whatever we say, otherwise there will be chaos and anarchy. Change and progress can wait. Truth and facts can be cold-storaged; the rakyat are too dumb and volatile to swallow them so why should we allow them that luxury of free thought? Free thought are for idiots who only know how to question; they don't understand the challenges we have to go through in the government, the fine balance between opposing interests. What do you think the dacing is for? I know it's tilted at the moment and for a long time, but those starry-eyed cockamamie rakyat should be satisfied there's some peace and order around, so why rock the sampan? After all, they should be thankful for the stability, even if it has to be paid for from the billions part of which gerrymandered, part of remaining used to soothe the souls of the gerrymanderers, philanderers and plunderers. Semuanya ok.'

The argument between Dr Lim K Y and Datuk Zainuddin is another typical case where you find there is no absolute truth, Everyone speaks from his or her own truth. - from your own beliefs, your own expressed beliefs. TheSun paper is more natural and like the real Sun practices no discrimination and see through many. Those on the receiving ends could only feel it and complain.
Can you imagine the sun thinking, "Who needs my help most? Should I send forth my rays upon this flower, or that one? Which flower needs my help the most?” Everything & everyone is equal and given a share under the sun.

and since Friday, there has been a relentless Google search for “fighting pasir gudang” and our authorities have now came out with a denial; details at:

Ahh anything spewing from that Minister of Misinformation will warrant a picking by the public.
The verdict? All his words are simply hogwash as propaganda attack towards the Sun paper and DAP (elections are coming~~~). And I'm sure those are the exact words (as published by the Sun) will land that MOI in hot soup. What a laughing stock he'll be.
As for a Malaysian Malaysia? My Malaysian Malaysia will see to that MOI's like HIM won't be sitting in political posts for a long long time.

I would say that The Sun is probably the only one with "backbone" as compared to the others controlled by political parties. Their articles are factual, interesting and touched the hearts of the rakyat. I loved its articles on Zakaria Satayman of Klang and his "abuses" , no other papers dare to write anything sensible.
Of course, there are also other blogs like RPK, Malaysiakini , Jeff that dared to expose the truth. Its time politicians like ZM wake up and don't talk like a boy, we are moving towards 2020 and we know how to think better than him.He may fooled the kampong folks and villagers, but majority of the taxes are paid by people like you and me and thats where his salary came from. Wake up, please and talk something sensible.
