Kindernet.com... Safe search engine for kids

I don't believe in filtering the Internet, but this search engine blocks out cyber-baddies to protect our children from pornography and sexual predators.

I only knew of Kindernet.com when its CEO Mark Trudinger (left, picture above) was making a presentation to journalists and tech writers at Kickstart Asia 2007 in Bintan recently.

Still on beta, Kindernet is now available in English, Chinese, French, Japanese and German.

I shared some views in my CNet Asia blog, Lemak Lemang.

Hey Jeff!

It is so great to see Avanti Kumar still using the netBook.

He always said that it was the ultimate writer's tool.

A man of his word.

Check his site out at: http://www.avantikumar.com/

for the man and his words.
