There's HOPE still.

I shut out the TV and Internet from yesterday. Merdeka is not about human parade and fireworks.

It's not about thousands of commoners celebrating the pembesar-pembesar politik on the dais.

Or about picking a monkey-calling chap to mimick the seven cries of Tunku's Merdeka proclamation.

This Merdeka is not even about tall buildings and narrow minds.

It's no longer the myth of Tanah Melayu (here and here).

It's a time for HOPE to rid this country of its nuisance.

Let racial unity, peace and corruption-free governance transcend this country.
