Thank you all for making it to the tea party this morning, ALL-BLOGS, my defence lawyer, those SMSes from near and afar (Holland, Germany, Australia, USA, Penang, Singapore...), those encouraging emails from readers and acquaintances, and old friends who popped up after years of hibernation.

I told each and everyone of them: "A man has to do what a man has to do."

But the real message, hand on heart is this: "After the journalists had left the place, the photographers packed their gears and gone, hardwork shall begin."

Bravo Jeff ..

When I was younger, oh, about a score years ago, I have a different opinion of DAP. Now I am 36, quite well-travelled and well-read, I found myself and my wife voting for DAP in the last GE.

Taniah!! I too believe only DAP can bring the malaysians together. The path is indeed no bed of roses.

Bravo Brother Jeff! Way to go for Malaysia! Hail to all the Freedom Fighters & Saviors of Malaysia! Syabas & Tahniah! Remember the injustices & rampant corruption of people in high-offices & the rich & powerful! Lest We FORGET! Try not to oppose just for the sake of opposing.

Good luck.

And if luck really has it, I may vote for you.

Well done Jeff. Hope you can really bring on something different from what we are seeing today. I really would love to see the corrupted UMNO government being uprooted. GO GO GO!

Hidup Jeff Ooi! Syabas! You got balls made of steel.

i am here to show my support to jeff, as a responsible and respected blogger, journalist.

i am sure you have been giving it a long thought.

however, being active in politics will inevitably compromise the neutrality of this blog as well as allowing more doubt in the judgment of your readers.

In ideal, you can have the best of both worlds, but this is not the ideal.

you have chosen your path,
i bid goodbye to the best blog and greet the new fighter.

that is all
