This Friedrich Gustav Emil Martin Niemöller poem resurface in 1984, the year of George Orwell's Big Brother.
When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist.
When they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.
When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out;
I was not a trade unionist.
When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.
First they came... is a poem attributed to Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892-1984) about the inactivity of German intellectuals following the Nazi rise to power and the purging of their chosen targets, group after group.
While IPCMC (Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission) remains a stillborn, Nat is now on Global Voices Online.

When Malaysia start playing this no warrants, special branch act, it will let the hell break lose.
Now those Bukit Aman simply use the "special branch" power in plain coat, like the KGB/East German secret police to take people away without a court warrants.
In Bolehland, we heard enough case of police pretender. It is just matter of time criminals/triads pretend as special branch.
