Likely a fake
As a photographer who captures people as subject matter, and often has to borrow ambient light in diverse conditions to portray them in very telling stories, I tend to believe that that threesome picture is a fake.
The proportion and perspective of the man in the middle can't be right. He looks a planted element in a doctored image.
Comments
Using a fake and doctored photograph is really very bad journalism. People will be skeptical when a real photograph turns up. I would have understood if it is a ploy using reverse psychology to spin. But didn’t that story comes from an opposition? What a screw up. Childish.

Cheh! Even the faces of the other 2 people in the phot are pasted on. Just look at the face of the lady. Blatantly evident.
If Tian Chua thought the photo was a genuine one, or somehow thought it was justifiable to post a clearly faked photo on his blog, he should seriously rethink how carefully he evaluates his material and actions. Much credibility lost!

Jeff,
I think it is just a tongue in cheek. Of course it is a fake picture, with obvious superimpose on all three characters.

Jeff, It is a real fake when exposed under high exposure!
Under the cover of Darkness, the Dinner Picture was published but when exposed under higher Exposure using ACDSEE we can see the Halo around her face exposing it as a FAKE. Surprising they are NO halos around the other two faces. Now who is the missing one having dinner with them?
For more details of the enhanced fake pictures Goto:

And also a 26s Najib Video denial in Ijok of any connection. According to Kim Quek, the photo has been shown to her father, then why was it NOT tender as evidence?

Aw, come on Jeff. Anyone with rudimentary Photoshop skills, or heck, even MSPaint could have coughed up something like that. It's not as though it was a fake reuters photo that would have been difficult to spot.

It is a very very obvious fake and anybody could see thru it, The poster's intention is to create a spin so that it will be discussed among us again and again. He seems to have achieved his intentions judging by the comments among bloggers and hopefully the main press will call him a liar so that it will be discussed in the main papers. But looking at the way the main paper reacts now, they must be honored bound by their promise not to mention the photo.

The photo was a joke, makes the doer a joke too.
Jeff, you appeared mild on criticism.
I was expecting the real threesome bcoz you left out the " ' ' ". :)
JEFF OOI says: I can't vouch for what an Umno leader is capable of doing, I certainly can give an informed perspective on photography. That's the context.

EXIF says it's a Photoshop 7.0 job no less...
And for undeniable proof, if you google "Najib tun razak" you'll find this photo, which is the original used the the fakery. It's slightly stretched vertically and the name tag has been photoshopped out (but the lanyard is still there), but it's the bona fide original.

Seems like you left out the humour and satire factor in your "informed" perspective Jeff. That's the context, IMO.
JEFF OOI says: Yours becometh a tainted context when, in the name of humour and satire, a person is impaired the irreversible damage unto his character by means of fake evidence.
Really it's just so damn obvious. The picture, and your analysis.

Most of us can see the satire in Jeff's posting. But, using fake brings more harm than good. I, on the other hand, think fake evidence exonerate a person from guilty to innocent. Not every Malaysian is an intellect. Our opposition is a fool in the king's court.

Come on guys. The picture is so obviously fake, that anyone who look at it will just pass it on for a good laugh. Do you think the creator of the picture didn't know that it's so obviously fake? No one, with their right mind, will take this picture seriously, unless you want to become the Joke itself.

for one thing, the lady in the picture was not of altantuya at all. it is said to be that of a korean model who committed suicide several months after the murder of altantuya.
that - the picture of the lady not being altantuya - plus the fact that the photo was badly doctored should be a giveaway what tian chua was up to. yes he meant it as a satire and he purposely had the photo up to attract attention.
so i can't understand why all the bising-bising from so many bloggers attacking tian chua. i am no fan of PKR at all but in this instance of tian's action, i would support him. he's a smart devil to post this doctored photo up. not only he got lots of traffic and publicity to his blog, but he managed to get the mainstream media talking about the photo amy mentioned "having dinner with a malaysian government official... his name was najib razak...", which in the beginning when it was mentioned by amy was not reported at all in the mainstream media.
see? tian's objective was achieved.
