Forum on 'Clean and Fair Elections

Should the general election be held in the next few months, how prepared are we for a clean and fair electoral process?

The Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections (BERSIH), which is endorsed by 5 political parties and 26 NGOs, has four short-term goals as well as a long-term reform agenda:

1 ) Use of indelible ink
2 ) Cleanup of the electoral roll
3 ) Repeal of domestic postal voting
4 ) Fair media access

There is a public forum on these issues today. Admission is free.

BERSIH was launched in Parliament House in November 2006 with the objective of campaigning for clean and fair elections.
