This close affair reporting was started by the wedding of the Raja Muda of Perak recently and Bernama was given the task to disseminate the “guarded news”. The wedding of Abdullah-Jeanne follow suit. The print & electronic media were of course sore with the arrangement. In fact a TV station more or less ignored some of news dished out. The coverage of the Audience with the King & Queen and last night Seri Perdana fete for Cabinet & Menteri Besars were not much in the papers and so was the attendance of the newly wed couple at the Brunei Banquet hosted by the Sultan on the occasion of the maariage of his 4th daughter.
