Asia Blogging Network... launched in Indonesia

The live-wire to Asia Blogging Network -- asiablogging.com -- is Budi Putra, Indonesia’s first professional, full time blogger, and my fellow blogger on CNet Asia.

Big names on the network include author Jennie S. Bev, former presidential spokesperson and talkshow host Wimar Witoelar, and veteran journalist Andreas Harsono.

Unspun has sprung a sounding board for bloggers from seberang (that's Malaysia) to come together.

Ong has also pointed to WSJ columnist Jeremy Wagstaff's piece on the localisation of blogging.

Nice guy is pak Budi, well written thoughts and deserved admiration for his journalism quality. Good to see a good intellectual export for a change :-)

INTERNET does not operate in a legal vacuum.
