Mitch Albom in MPH
Sit yourself at the Book Cafe at MPH Mid Valley. Stare at the side entrance and shift your eyes 15 degrees to your right.
You will not miss a big placard with Mitch Albom inscribed in a 2-foot long font size.
Three Albom novellas have made it to the MPH shelves, tucked in a prominent corner:
1 ) For One More Day (2006)
2 ) Tuesdays with Morrie: An Old Man, a Young Man, and Life's Greatest Lesson (2005) and
3 ) The Five People You Meet in Heaven (2004).
"Now, it's so much easier to plagiarise Mitch Albom from closer to home," I told John.
Comments
Hey Jeff, Mitch Albom's books have been available at MPH from even before the word plagiarism flashed past our minds eye more than twice in a week!
JEFF OOI says: This is the first time MPH is running a Mitch Albom promotion, now. Go figure!
In any case, considering Mitch has not objected to plagiarism of his works, he has set a precedent and now it could be suggested that his works are in the public domain. As such I guess rather than buying his book you could just photocopy his works!

I believe now many students would read his original works against the copycats for case studies. Could this had sparks off new buyers? But wait... Obverver has reminded me of photocopying, that during our school days, we do buy a copy of our books and photocopy for the entire class. If Mitch wouldn't mind someone copy his work, guess he wouldn't mind students make copies of his books, would he?
