Political bombshell explodes in Sabah... ( 3 )
Prime Minister's remark that the resignation of Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Chong Kah Kiat is “not really a loss” has triggered an acute response from Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), the Chinese-based BN component party in Sabah.

According to Oriental Daily on today's frontpage lead, LDP president V.K. Liew said Abdullah's remark is an insult to the entire Sabahan community who had supported LDP and Barisan Nasional all these years.

"I am not the only one who shared this feeling," said Liew.
Meanwhile, LDP secretary-general CK Chong said Abdullah's remark is shocking.
"Tan Sri Chong had been a staunch supporter of Barisan Nasional for the last 32 years," he said. "When Chong was actively making contribution to the state and the country, Abdullah was only a diplomat."

LOL. The PM hasn't the acumen to measure the impact of every single word he utters.
Belittling an old guard member is never the way to go. Not a single word of appreciation as is the norm, what a PR disaster!
cheers

Foiyuh! I'm still shaking my head over Pak Lah's remarks. I can't believe that's what he said. Hopefully he comes back and say he was misquoted...

Folks
Pak Lah is correct.
He would even be correct if he had said that Ong Ka Ting's resignation would not be a great loss to the BN.
It is true.

Yes, everyone is dispensable end of the day. Including Pak Lah. For the benefit of the better of the gravy train of UMNO, MCA, MIC dan lain-lain.
