Ijok... Stop this 'Sedia Gempur' hooliganism
Paul would have been blinded if not for his quick reflex.

Paul and I, both photographers on assignment, were surrounded by a group of over 20 rowdy youths clad in the white Pemuda BN attire after having lunch with Khalid Ibrahim in Simpang Ijok on April 21.
Paul was assaulted by one of them who poked his eyes with the sharp end of an unopened bottle of mineral water at close range. He bled and required medical attention.
Regrettably, despite wide coverage in the Internet and traditional press, none of the Umno leaders had wanted to own up.
This reflects the quality of leadership we have -- Mat Rempit are now on rampage in mainstream politics. They have forgotten the civilisational pledge that they had taken off and on.

The crime scene was a public area off this building
The threats these political Mat Rempits posed are far serious than what you can imagine, or have taken for granted. Kit Siang realised that, so did his readers. And so must you.
Paul, who was hurt an innocent by-stander through no sin of his, has decided to speak up for the love of his beloved country.

These hooligans in Pemuda UMNO probably learnt how to harm and maim from Najib (the original keris-brandisher), Kerismuddin and Khairy.
