Now I really feel like a paying goblok every time I pass through the toll gates. While the middle class are damned, the poor now get poorer paying to further enrich the rich...

And who is responsible implementing the milking of the motorists across the nation? He is that” bad boy” image of Samy Vellu. In the last (No 5th ) Anti Toll Hike protest at Summit USJ, there was a very pertinent cartoon on that bad boy depicting his huge all encompassing Toll Booth legs across the highway roads , laughing all the way to the banks with the operators, lying with a snake-forked tongue on the rates and the operating cost percentages and shitting on all the motorists passing thru his legs. Have a laugh at the cartoon and more pics at

The coming 6th Anti Toll Protest is on 22nd April (Sunday) at Cheras Leisure Mall.

The concessionaires' profits are obscene. They should be super-taxed. In other words, create a new tax regime just for them. The additional taxes collected can be returned to motorists in various ways. Foremost would be to use them to pay off the tolls so projected to be collected by the same concessionaires (!), thereby ending this ripoff of the century.

In Thailand, a honda jazz/city/vios costs RM40k upwards and civic/corrola RM70k onwards depending on specs.
In brunei, mercedes CLS is B$160k ~ RM350k and and -class 200k compressor around RM120k or less, medical and education is free.
In Singapore, PAP means pay-and-pay. But Umno (do not blame uncle sam or sammy vellu) managed to beat even PAP in this game as we have to pay toll 24hrs a day compared to only peak periods in singapore.
