Cabinet meeting... on Friday
The Cabinet usually meets on a Wednesday, but one has been scheduled for tomorrow, a Friday.
What's on the agenda? Kit Siang has one on cushioning, while Samy 'Go to hell!' Vellu has another on gun-blazing... NS in-training death tolls reached No. 19... and on the ACA chief alleged for corrupt practices, a minister calls the NGO stupid.
It has been three straight days the KLCI went south: minus 35.79 points on Feb 27, minus 40.63 on Feb 28, and minus 15.54 on March 1, totalling 91.96 points.
Shall we put some distraction tactics in place before the boss comes home?
Strong juxtaposition
Whatever it is, I would like to compliment The Star chief-sub for the strong sense of humour reflecting on the headline story of the day... the tumbling share market.

It was a Bernard Shaw way of looking at Malaysia today... a skinny-bony jumbo in active denial mode... that's 'still strong'.
That's the power of picture and wordsmith rolled-in-one!
Comments
Uncle LKS is not good on satire. I think many will read his "cushioning" message as asking the government intervention.
IMHO, the arrow is point straight to Pak Lah inadequate roles on calling "rakyat" to enter the market. For those who heed the call and enter market, too bad!

Correct me if I'm wrong, No.1 is away, No.2 is also away; so who's chairing the meeting? OKT? Neh! Semi Value? Neh! 4th Floor Boy? Maybe, maybe...

I've said it before in this blog when the present day government was happily crunching all those good feeling numbers for public consumptions.
Never trust a liar especially when he lied over and over too many times. To those who got "burnt", its just too bad though its hard to swallow. Its a casino in there, you win some, you lose some. Trust your instincts, the world has changed to put too much trust on someone.

When to go in and when to get out remains the greatest mystery in the stock market !
For those who were burnt we say its too bad as greed was their motivator !
Listening to your colleague across the office to jump in is one thing but to believe the chief is another ,It just proves that the stock market owes no punters only genuine investors with ambitions for dividends and that is not our Bursa !
