Frankly, I'm surprised this is still standing. As it is right now, Wikipedia contributors and moderators are having some soft of turf war on the addition of bloggers pages on Wikipedia.

Many A-listers have already been flagged for deletion, and some already has. So don't keep your hopes up too high Jeff.

I think it's not Jeff's intention to be famous, and that the case you quoted doesn't apply to Jeff at all. Jeff is not keen on promoting himself, or else he wouldn't have been unaware of his wiki entry until today.

And in any case, Jeff's notability in Malaysia definitely secures his place in Wikipedia, especially with the recent events in the news.

Jeff's article was nominated for deletion last year, and was kept after consideration of the coverage he has received, e.g. in the BBC for exposing Squatgate.

Funny Jeff Ooi is linked with Kennysia. that joker actually edited Jeffs wikipage before.

please add some good information as updating process is not so active there.
