Brendan Pereira

Over at Jalan Riong, Group Editor Brendan "Albom" Pereira is expected to start his month-long leave before his resignation at the end of December.

Earlier this month, The NSTP had threatened to sue the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) over a news report on the controversy surrounding Pereira's departure from The NST.

Till today, the BBC is still maintaining that its report is “entirely legitimate" and no retraction that The NST demanded has been entertained. The 'major scalp' remains.
