The Rain!
It rained heavily during the Sepang leg of A1GP on Sunday. But the show must go on and the shoot must continue though it's tough for an amateur and hobbyist like me.

It's an experience that reinforces my belief and why I have had the highest respect for professional photo-journalists who bring us great pictures day-in day-out from war zones to peaceful times.

Hi Jeff. At least you're protected by "Ponco". The only other thing is wet and humid.
JEFF OOI says: I carry a disposal poncho whenever I am on outdoor shoot. The 'lens cover' was actually big garbage bag that the Media Centre gave us to keep ourselves dry innovatively.

Jeff,
High time you discard your photo gear and get a professional video cam to capture and freeze those Sepang shots frame by frame.
JEFF OOI says: Thanks. I am into videography only as a secondary hobby. My prime vices in life is still Still Photography, an art form which I have been doing on-and-off since the film days. I am still a believer of Henri Cartier-Bresson, longing for that "Decisive Moments". To me, that's the satori level of photography, and after over 15 years, I am still searching into this realm. And I am not the only one.

That zombie look came about towards the end of the event?
You need Vitamin B.
JEFF OOI says: The zombie look was taken around 3.30pm when the Feature Race was about to start -- that's after enduring a grueling 30 minutes of scorching hot sun for the Sprint Race, before the Rain. Indeed, I needed more on-the-field experience shooting competitive sports than mere vitamin B. When you get the pictures, you forget you were zombies. That's the kind of experience and satisfaction money cannot buy for people who locked themselves indoors.
