OUT Aziz Shamsuddin; IN Mat Tyson?
Will the lone voice in the Cabinet sympathising with Dr Mahathir's cause be replaced by the new Senator from Selangor?
Political pundits are talking about this right now. Let's forget about counting the Australian dollars.

Okay, I have a high opinion of Mat Taib, I mean, he did a much better job than Toyo.
Even if he was involved in that money scam in Australia, he is definitely a good leader.
But! Before someone decides to flame me....
Is this a wise move from a government which is trying to prove that it's against corruption.
After Dato' Zak, Khir Toyo and Mohd. Said, can the Malaysian public tolerate even more blatantly obvious examples of a corrupt government?

GOOD point, "aminyatim".
While I still think that there are grounds for the era of Dr M to be termed as "zaman penuh korupsi", that Mohd Taib is made a senator is not good advertisement for "zaman Abdullah Badawi pejuang anti rasuah".

It goes to show how forgiving Badawi is. He would make a better Mufti than a Prime Minister! He certainly is doing everything to outdo the religious guys when it comes to the forgiving side. After all he is very forgiving of people like the "close one eye chap", Zakaria and a whole host of others too.

It confirms my opinion that qualified malays have abandoned Umno and hence lack of members to promote. In my humble opinion, mat taib is behind puncak niaga.and every penny you pay for your water goes into his pockets and ends up in australia or london. That is why they have to increase the water charges in line with the standard of living over there.

You are kidding right? Against corruption? Where? When?
"After Dato' Zak, Khir Toyo and Mohd. Said, can the Malaysian public tolerate even more blatantly obvious examples of a corrupt government?"
The operative word is 'blatant' Do they really care what the public thinks? UMNO=Govt.

Well, merdeka,
if they didn't care, the people wouldn't have voted them into office in the first place.
Either that or they're so blinded by the cow manure that they simply can't make the correct decision.
Personally, I think the latter applies.
When did they campaign against corruption, well, perhaps in the last General Election?
It's an empty promise, I know, but they did say it.

As election time comes we should see more lies and empty promises being made by BN. Just try to count how many of the many election promises they have made to con the 92% and how many was actually delivered?
Should be comical to be at the BN rallies to see how they can look into our eyes and made more chest-thumping promises when they have not even fulfilled their last election promises! I will certainly be at the rallies.

Is this because Najib (+ Baginda) is slowly fading from the scene?..
Also, does anyone know of Mhd Taib's connection to the Acmar International company? (run by the Tee family out of Klang)..

nat.
It's probably just a coincidence that the Acmar development of BBK in Klang went very quiet at about the same time that Mat Taib left office. Until today the convention centre, hospital and hotel still stand unfinished and looking as if they will stay that way for a long time to come.
