Mahathir's Open Letter, Nov 3

It's carried in BeritaKMU.net, tilted: 'Larangan Mengkritik'.

Mahathir re-emphasised his earlier assertion of a 'Police State' during this Abdullah administration. Quote:

Berani kerana benar.
Takut kerana salah.
Takutnya Pak Lah jika rakyat dengar saya
ialah kerana dia dan konco-konconya bersalah.

Mahathir said a total of 14 invitations in his honour had been cancelled at the instruction of the deputy Internal Security Minister, Johari Baharom.

'Takut kerana salah'? Well, I guess there are always exception to that saying. Dr M for instance.

Or maybe his selective recall has affected even his own mind? And he can justify his words and actions on the basis of 'Berani kerana benar'?

I am still waiting for the contents of the heavily-lopsided toll concession contracts awarded while Dr M was PM, for instance. And what about the the smelly IPP kettle of fish? And many more. Salah ke?

INTERNET does not operate in a legal vacuum.
