'Hear the Unheard; Speak the Unspoken'

Tomorrow night (November 22) , this blogger will speak at Gerakan White Coffee Talk series, targetting the non-sterile in Malaysian politics.

The theme is: 'Hear the Unheard; Speak the Unspoken: An Overview of Political Blogging in Malaysia'.

The White Coffee Talk is a discussion, training, knowledge exchange concept initiated by the Gerakan Political Training Bureau in February 2006, designed to be held on a weekly basis on every Wednesday, 7:30pm at Gerakan Headquarters.

I will speak in my capacity as a Malaysian blogger.

In tomorrow's talk, I shall attempt to showcase efforts by Malaysian political bloggers and how they relate and contribute towards the global mega-trends, namely 'The Flat World' and 'The Long Tail' as they relate to the notion of 'Power Laws, Weblogs and Inequality' that Clay Shirky initiated in 2003..

My speaking at Dr Mahathir's Keynote Address on the Media has been postponed to early 2007. This will be my last speaking engagement in Malaysia for 2006, before I take a slow drive to attend to my personal endeavours. Please come if you have time. Admission is free.

For further details, please contact the staff in charge for this event, Sdri Wennie Wong at 03-9287 6868.
