my favorite ol time song that rhymes as a pantun:
Biarkan hari lebaran
Melerai hati yang lama resah
Demi sebuah persaudaraan
Ratakan jurang yang menjadi pemisah
Berteduh dirimbunan Aidilfitri
Mengutip Makfirat di halaman Ilahi
Sejernih embun dingin di pagi hari
Hanya setitis disyurga yang hakiki

What did LG pay you or do for you that you are now writing about Chocolate as if you have been "wowed"? I mean that's possible, but what else have you been wowed by before this then?
Last time you went on a crusade to bring down photomalaysia.com. At the beginning I was quite confused as to why you were so concerned about the local politics there. Very soon after that you went on to launch your very own lensamalaysia.com.
And now, what has Tenaga offered you? A few months ago you were doing some investigative pieces on the energy industry, implicating quite a number of parties there.
And now that you have been bought, how can I trust you about this topic anymore?
What happens now if a little bird tells you something new about Leo Moggie? Will you publish it?

This mix of editorial and advertising here makes the Malaysian internet one credible source less.
You are now just like the mainstream press. Muddling editorial and advertorial (look at education sections). You run SMS contests. And you can be bought over by chocolates.
JEFF OOI says: Do you have any pantun to sell? I have LG Chocolate too offer. Thanks for the compliments. I will endeavour to continue breaking oldconvention abd breaking new grounds in things I blog about. If I see anything not right on the Internet -- like allowing fake National Georgraphic photograhers to bluff Internet readers -- I will create awareness about it and provide an alternative that promotes doing the right things. If the IPP contracts awarded to the Syed Mokhtars and YTLs are hurting hurting TNB and ulltimately the consumers, I will provide an alternative view to wake upminions like you. So, you like your chocale in piink, whiteor classic? You should know that I have NO CURE for jealousy. I also can't help people like you who can't make a difference and hide behind anonymity to demonise people who do good. This thread is about promoting pantun, our national legacy. Please do something positive tolove your country.

I totally agree jarvis. I have practically lost my trust in Jeff's writings. If he can be so easily bought over by chocolate....oh man.....geez....
Looks to me this blog started out good but then.....greed starts to set in....(sounds familiar?)

There is a reason why jeff ooi wanted this pantun to be an sms contest instead of write-in thru comments. SO that whiners and ranters may be discouraged. But hey, RM1 isnt much to whine and rant if anyone wants to. But pantun is not for me. Not good with the a,b,a,b system.
However, should jeff ooi one day decided to start another sms contest ala One In a Million voting whereby the highest spender or sender of sms will win, I may consider. One need not have skills, just make sure you have the time and money to gamble.
I'll pass this pantun contest.

Leave the guy alone lah. I believe it was just an advertisement break. Even if this blogger did not take the offer, some other bloggers would because that's LG's marketing direction. We can't go and tell every bloggers they can't advertise, can we? Are we being fair? We want free news, but we don't allow them to make a living?
Though, I would have a completely different view if the news headline is like "NST bought Screenshots for RMXX million".
