AAB have nothing better to do?? Rebranding mat rempit to mat cemerlang?..Gone bonkers our PM?

Biggest joke...hey hello....illegal racers are illegal racers...whoever the patron is..it will be illegal in the eyes of the law. Or if Putera UMNO ropes this group of racers in..the police cannot touch them is it?

Stupid stupid...whoever has that idea.

I would believe giving them affordable venues to legally race would be a good thing. Recognition and regulating them is the right thing to do. Just get them off public roads.

I hope thats what the government is trying to do.

I would believe that this would be a futile attempt to "reign" them in. There are simply too many of them. Legalizing an illegal activity tantamounts to encouragement for more to "take to the streets". One should try to be at the scene -- one of these places is over the weekends (Saturaday, Sunday, sometimes Friday - from 12 midnight to the wee hours of the morning) at the kota damansara area -- to know how serious and lack of respect these people has for the law. Not only do they flout the traffic laws, at the same time, they also endanger the life of other motorists, e.g. by dashing through traffic lights while it's red and there are oncoming vehicles from the other directions, 'closing' roads for their own purposes, rowdiness -- screaming at the top of their voices past midnight -- and they can be heard around the residential areas around the area, going very close to cars and other vehicles while zigzagging across them.

Frankly, I do not know what the authorities are trying to achieve by "forming" clubs for them. Or are the authorities using the popularity of the movie to boost their own flagging fortunes. But I, for one, am not amuse by this act, because my family and I are one of those subjected this constant torment around kota damansara. It's more than just one or some black sheep. It's time that the authorities view it seriously. This IS a matter of life and death while we travel frequently along these roads, and our patience are wearing thin.

Khairy trying to live out and learn what he missed out following a regimented educational regime in UWC and Oxford where street behaviour and street smrat is not taught?

Kj and FIL needs support from all levels of the society and what better way than to reach out to scumbags like these mat rempit. WHo knows KJ might find a few gem who can be the fall guy for future events. If a few of these gang leaders can rub shoulders with the likes of KJ, imagine the no. of potential votes he has bought. Legality is not an issue as to them black is white and white is black. Scumbags are easier to deceive and cheaper to be bought over. Their brains are the size of someone's balls but i'll leave this answer to u.

I wish there was at least 1 unbiased MP there....

What these 'brainiacs' in Parliament should do, is try to link the number of snatch thief cases caused by rempits.

That, dear friends, would clear the air, and maybe turn on a few lightbulbs in the MPs heads.

Because as of right now, all I can see is that UMNO is delusional, thinking that the entire rempit community is like The Lord of The Rings' Riders of Rohan....

UMNO has run out of ideas and also is scraping the bottom of the barrel. UMNO can't recruit the graduates as the graduates are smarter than the leadership in UMNO. UMNO can't recruit university or college students due to the University College Act and so UMNO has to resort to recruiting the unemployed, uneducated and the Mat Rempits. If these Mat Rempits rise to be the leaders of UMNO, then I pity UMNO, Malays and Malaysia. Malaysia already have MB's that give the middle finger and say Go to Hell to opponents. So future MB's and Ministers will also have the Mat Rempits mentality. Ride like crazy, get into accident and then run away or plead no money to pay for damages.

INTERNET does not operate in a legal vacuum.
