Aiyo, why lah language like 'iblis'?
Some scornful language has been used by the PM in Pahang today, delivered through speeches that were loaded with religious metaphors and veiled criticisms. The DPM was in attendance!
Via mStar.com.my:
Translation via Malaysiakini:
Abdullah also said the government depended fully on the civil servants in realising the projects under the Ninth Malaysia Plan. However, in implementing the projects, he said, there were certain quarters behaving like "demons" who tried to disrupt development efforts as they felt they were smarter than others.
"Adam was created and the angels accepted Adam as the Caliph. But it was the demon who opposed it. Allah (God) has shown that Adam was smarter than the demon.
"As such, the main reason why Allah chose Adam as the Caliph was because of his intelligence," he said.
What will be the fallout?
I am worried for the country for a variety of reasons. There must be parties who don't want the PM to patch up with his annointer.

His elegant silence had so much more substance and mystery than his his rambling eloquence. (Hey, is rambling eloquence an oxymoron as eloquent silence?..But then if that is ok with NST, it should be o.k. on Screenshots..right?)

Its a bit ironic when I was surfing slashdot.org today and the quote on the bottom was this:
Eloquence is logic on fire

Is the PM likening himself to Adam? Then, why he said, 'Saya bukan orang pandai..' Allah chose Adam as the Caliph was because of his intelligence," he said.
So, what is what now?
Pandai or tak pandai?
Confuse-nya!

Who is this Adam that he is talking about? Does he mean himself or Khairy? What about 'Iblis'? Is he refering to a person?
What in so sudden, our PM has totally changed to a worst by using such unacceptable religion idealogy and words?

As i know, Pak Lah was hand-picked by Mahathir, not Allah.
No wonder Malaysian PM never care about people... they aren't choosen by rakyat.
This is the root cause... is it?

Wah! Ada iblis and Adam! Not bad for a PM to say all these but laying the blame on people who are like iblis won't solve the problem. as long as we're alive there will always be people like that. Just don't do another Ops Lalang like what your predecessor did. I know you're too nice for that and don't stoop so low like the iblis. Prove that you're smarter than iblis by outhinking and outsmarting him. And to settle this matter once and for all:
Just drive over to TDM's house and have tete a tete with him privately. Then, with all the journalists waiting outside, have a press conference and announce everything is hunky dory and patched up. Hug the old man like what rafidah did last year. Habis cerita! Or is it?

Hmmm, lets see, those who are eloquently silent must be angels then, I surmise.
Next change.
Bloggers in this country should not misuse or abuse democracy in this country to create evil in society.
You are all shades and mirrors of the the one-eyed Dajjal, the Anti-Christ.

- This sounds very much like Chinese Emperors? A God given mandate?
Our votes not counted? We better make our votes counted next GE.
Our neighbours across the straights have much joy for their 9%+ growth. A national celebration of joy and sememangnya Cemerlang, Gemilang, Terbilang ...
And ours so far, the PR spin makes the whole thing very Temberang. Sad that things are going down the drain much faster. The rich becomes much richer.
The middle class? Forget about the middle class. Lets squeeze them as much as possible. The poor? They're the untouchables. Nothing to be gained and squeezed.
Everytime there is an increase in toll, petrol, necessities, etc. We always compare Ringgit to USD, SGD, etc. It is not apple to apple comparison. Our quality of life is going down the drains. Purchasing power decreases by the year.
Practice of double standards increases.
Sad.

Vox populi ,Vox Dei.
or is it
Vox populi vox Dei?
JEFF OOI says: Latin. Vox = voice; Populi = people/public; Dei = God.

First, there was silence - very elegant ?
Then, Start talking but not convicing - eloquence ?
Now, Talk in riddle - choosen by tm, God, rayat or mistake - confusing ?
Better be direct, clear the air and make amend. And get out of this nightmare.
Please remember Malaysia needs to move ahead.

"JEFF OOI says: Latin. Vox = voice; Populi = people/public; Dei = God."
Yes,i know that sir.
Vox populi ,vox Dei:"The voice of the people ,is the voice of God"
But in our time context,i asked "Vox populi vox Dei?"
is it really people's choice is the God's choice too?
if the people's choice were blinded by emotion, lack of information, fanaticsm, false hope, has "Vox populi" fit to be "Vox Dei?"
