This is typical malaysian answer.
Yes, at this moment we just reviews, not mention any amendment. But we know, from the past experiences, Sure it will amend after the review.

"......Nobody has said that we are going to enact a law to control the internet media. I only said we are going to study the existing Printing Presses and Publications Act, " he said......"
'What happens, if during the review, the Act is found to be deficient, and as the Filipinos love to say, it's 'flawed' ? Your guess is as good as mine!

Fu Said "... some media had misreported his statement during the ministry's Mass Media Conference 2006 in Putrajaya recently by reporting that the ministry was going to amend the act to cover the electronic media and the internet."
O.k. By his own admission obviously mainstream media had misreported or misquoted him. Has anyone compiled a statistics for the number of times Ministers and BN MPs have relied on this excuse?
O.k. Our BN MPs never lie and they are never wrong. In which case according to them the mainstream media have made more than enough mistakes of misreporting and misquoting to the point they don't deserve to have a license to print and indeed everything thye report need to be reasses and verified for their veracity. And yet some idiot minister wants alternative media to ape the mainstream media!. Bloody joke.
No doubt the first time I ever read of the existence of this Fu character, he has to make an absolute ass of himself. For that my congratulations to this Fu! Sure he has Fu..ed himself big time. Maybe it would be best he zipped his mouth until his term is over.

Did anyone miss out this Sunday NST report datelined Kuantan 29th Jul quoting Fu A K?
"Several internet websites which allegedly issued inaccurate and speculative reports on yesterday's pepper spray incident involving Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad are being investigated by the police"
"contents of their offending reports would be analysed based on the assertiveness of the words used and whether the website operators had promptly retracted them."

i was expecting this reply..and true enough..
Same as Samy Vellu at the MIC elections..he denied saying Tun did not do anything for Indians..then the recording was played out..Old Samy kept quiet.
Typical shooting from the hips..just to get some cheap publicity. Shame on you FU
