It's Khaled Nordin's turn

After Zahid Hamidi and Syed Hamid Albar, it's Minister Mohamed Khaled Nordin's turn to face the brunt of the the unforgiving Umno grassroots.

"Jika Menteri boleh kurang ajar dalam akhbar kepada bekas Perdana Menteri, Tun Dr. Mahathir, apa salah saya tinggikan suara atau emosional sedikit terhadap beliau?"

That's the tone and manner of an UMNO member from the Lembah Pantai division articulated at the Majlis Penerangan Isu-Isu Semasa oleh Ahli Majlis Tertinggi UMNO for the Federal Territory.

Other Umno's higher echelon present when Khaled was grilled were Minister Mustapha Mohamad, MP Shahrir Samad, and two Umno council members Azim Zabidi and Norza Zakaria.

The audience was apparently riled when the organiser tried to end the 'briefing' without a Q&A session.

Other issues raised by the floor included:
1 ) Flip-flop over the Crooked Bridge aka Scenic Bridge
2 ) The 'merger' of Avenue Capital Resources Berhad and ECM Libra
3 ) Khairy Jamaluddin's share equity in ECM-Libra
3 ) Fuel Price hikes
5 ) Development programmes and government expenditure
6 ) Approved Permits (AP)

Thanks AMLG of Cuit Sikit! for the heads-up.

It appears that Umno grassroots are leveraging the 'top-down' taklimat sessions to push for their 'bottom-up' feedback over issues that The NST under Kalimullah Masheerul Hassan doesn't print.

Hey how come these guys are fussing? I thought the fuel price increases, the flip flops, Merger of Avenue Capital, the rape of the people's assets, and whatever were for the benefit of these goons only and detrimental and affected only the rest of the population. Where was this bloke when they were protesting the fuel price hike at KLCC and being lambasted by the water canons?

Why is he doing this...part of a bigger battle looming ahead...or separating the supporters from the non supporters?

And while all this is happening...AAB is "non existent".... elegant silence...

Somebody in AAB camp better whisper to him to wake up.

INTERNET does not operate in a legal vacuum.
