haha. Dr. Mahathir is guest speaker at a global peace forum? This is a joke. How can someone who insist on having his way all the time and refuse to compromise have anything interesting to say about global peace? on a sidenote, the song IMAGINE by John Lennon is not just a simple pacifist, call for peace song. The song is counter cultural and dreams of an end to religion, capitalism and consumerism as the means to peace, which is just fine with me as I am an leftist anarchist and atheist but too many times, people, including our fellow politicians, have been blindly championing the song for all the wrong reasons.

This must be a joke. To have a Global Peace Forum here when we cant even have a May 14 forum in peace. What kind of hypocrites are we?

Wrote some kooky left wing books - Nuclear Madness, Missile Envy,The New Nuclear Danger: George Bush's Military Industrial Complex etc. Can anyone tell me what these kooks did in ending the cold war or contributed to ending any conflicts in the world or even dismantling a single nuclear warheads thus far?? Go to Popular Book store and get a good book on 'war mongers' like Churchill, Thatcher or Reagan ... you might get better ideas of creating peace in this world ... or if not continue to dream on like Jeff ....
