Ancora imparo
May 18, it's convocation day at Monash University, Clayton Campus.

Convocation at Robert Blackwood Hall, Monash Clayton. Xian, our precious, received her scroll.
A university that's young by convention -- teaching only began in Monash in 1961 -- and there are`a total of 51 PhD graduands coming from just one campus: 1 in education, 6 in pharmacy, and 44 in medicine and health sciences.
In his Occasional Address, Professor Edward Byrne, dean of Monash Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, says recent achievements in the medical field are built on the shoulders of past giants. In contemporary days of all things commercialism, Byrne underscores 'compassion' being the key component that binds the science and art of medicine and health services in modern times.
Ï am still learning... Michelangelo must be whispering this to Rafiah Salim.
.
Ancora imparo is a saying attributed to Michelangelo that means 'I am still learning'.
The phrase was adopted as the motto for the Monash University, named after Sir John Monash (1865 - 1931), when it was established by proclamation under the Act of Parliament of Victoria on May 30, 1958.
