Google Calendar
URL: www.google.com/calendar.
Not an epoch-breaking web app -- I had one in 1997. But as it is free and integrat-able to my Google accounts, and everything is search-able on my desktop, I'm sold. To others, it is enough to make Microsoft Outlook redundant in the long run.
This is 'what leaked' out last month.

Not sure if your calendar from 1997 could be shared over the Internet to everyone so they can see where you are and what you up to? Or group calendering, or ability to subscribe to your calendars through public or private RSS!
G calendar is a very capabale web app, and supports iCal format.
I think they should get the UI designers for G calendar to have a look at Gmail, might be some nice improvement.
JEFF OOI says: My 1997 web calendar was mean for personal use, not for sharing or engine search. The only thing is that it didn't survived the dotcom bubble and I can't even recall the carcass' URL.

maybe i didnt look hard enough, but i wish google would improve the calendar in this way: enable non-gmail users to be able to view the calendar via a "nicely phrased" URL. at this moment, it seems that only gmail users can view; and that the shared URL looks hideous.
