SkyBus

RM9 one way. Tickets sold inflight, and by the bus. Hence SkyBus.

Watch out for the ads, perhaps tomorrow.

I hope nobody will get hit by falling wheels...

So who are the shareholders of SkyBus? No prizes....

How about offering KL public transport for free for two weeks and see if people avoiding it because the ticket price or poor route planning.

everytime i go kl i take klia express to kl sentral then walk a long way with my luggage (i mostly travel light but sometimes i pull a wheeled one) to take a monorail to my hotel in bb.
i want to try rapidkl, but the route is not very clear lah. esp to orang kampung like me.
i'm sure the new lcc and the skybus are good ideas and will help budget travellers.
should have more frequent (as in like at least every 10min) shuttles or a monorail between lcc and klia too. esp if airasia is going to take over some of mas's domestic routes.

Why dont skybus operate from another route, such sg. buloh train station, through LDP and Subang jaya KTM station to LCC terminal. Presently there is no alternative for the people living in these areas to go to LCC/KLIA except by private cars or taxis.

The bus takes an hour and 15 minutes. You've gotta be freaking kidding me. I guess that's the last time I fly AirAsia.

This LCCT seems specifically calculated to make AirAsia less appealing by adding almost an hour to travel time in each direction. Who on earth would take one of their flights within Peninsular Malaysia now? No way two hours of my time is worth the fare difference between AIrAsia and MAS.

From what I can tell, the LCCT is almost adjacent to the main KLIA terminal yet the road trip is 20km. Absolute craziness.

Kudos to Airasia again! Private entrepreneurship at its finest! No subsidy mentality, no forcing out the competitors, what else can we ask for? They are just plainly focusing on what they have and NOT all the IFs that we so commonly hear from the GLCs.

At the very least there exist now an alternative to those who wants to travel on a budget especially point-to-point travelling. For those who can afford, there's always your KLIA 'limousine' and MAS 1st class.

Previously , we also had bus from Chan Sow Lin to KLIA for fare about RM10 i think!!
Then AirAsia make it RM9. Pergghh!!! Respek from belukarjuling!!

INTERNET does not operate in a legal vacuum.
