I am on US$9.95 per day eat-all-you-can high speed wired LAN and yet I have difficulty login into my own server in MyLoca, Cyberjaya.

why dont you mirror your contents to another server for management & have that server publish in the one in myloca?
JEFF OOI says: Would love to. But where got money lah? Blogging day-in day-out already toakes up so much of time thoughts, still need to find three square meals per day lah...
rule of thumb, for malaysians, have your server in malaysia, for the rest of the world, host it in usa.
many years ago, we used email to send to the server when http connection was not viable, having a script to process the email (in your case, to publish the blog) was less painful as its always does what it should do, sometimes to an hour delay.

Jeff,
Get MyLoca to give you the reasons and THE solutions to your problem.
Tell them you will "not recommend" their servers anymore if they can't find a solution. I know you want to support our homegrown IT companies but the problem shouldn't be happening in MSC backyard.
I too want to know the reasons as I have been considering local servers for some time but I am still holding back until someone gives somebody a very good recommendation!
