Celcom: Also hitting where it hurts
Did you hear of corporate entities with thousand-strong sales fleet, like ING, are signing up with DiGi post-paid Business Packages?
Let me tell you. Celcom is also consolidating its post-paid marketshare with a new campaign - Xpax prepaid users can now upgrade to the Minutes Plan and also keep their current mobile number!

Switching to Celcom Minutes Plan also comes with another plus - Not only can you keep your current mobile number, you can also maintain your airtime credit!
Other benefits of Minutes Plan include:
1 ) One flat rate – 15sen/min nationwide
2 ) No access fee
3 ) Same tariff to all numbers – mobile & fixed line
4 ) One flat rate all day, all night
5 ) Free value – added services.
And Yes! Celcom has adopted a Chinese name to penetrate deeper into the Chinese market.
Let's see how Maxis react... yes react the way followers react.
Comments
normally maxis will have faster reaction and response faster than celcom. but not this time, is a surprise for me. I said it many times but i'll say it again "that's why we need digi"

technoroti,
Sorry to hear about your junk sms, i received something similar from a content provided but after i called maxis and explained i wasnt even in the country, they agreed fully to refund me.
Also, I was to lazy to comment on the sayno.to link, but i had to comment on something you said, so that people dont get the wrong impression of SMS.
On your comment:
"So how do you find with your SMS services? Just to add more to your knowledge which you already have little, SMS is not a guarantied service provided along with GSM. Meaning that I'm 1 of the lucky guy again, who able to receive the OFF instruction. How about thousands of other who unable to receive it in the first place? How would they find out how to decline those junk which cost a price of his lunch?
"
- I'm sorry t say that you got it wrong in your assumption on SMS service in GSM. FYI, most SMS centres today support 2 modes of delivery, direct delivery, where the SMS routes direct from one network to another without having to be stored in the SMS centre. In the event the recipeint cannot be contacted, or the delivery cannot be made, the Message is stored and tried again!
Unless you have problem with your terminal, every sent sms to you, MUST and WILL reach you, PERIOD! It can be delayed for various reason, if you're roaming or high traffic!
The only way you will never get your SMS, if the entire SMS service suddenly crashes and all the message store gets wiped out with no backup! I assure you, this never happens, at least in Malaysia. All our operators SMS solutions are high availability solutions, meaning when anything goes down, automaaticaally redundant clusters are emobilized to take over, hence 99.999% availavility!
So ah, tolong dont scold ppl lor, dont insult their knowledge lor...
cheers!
no pun intended!
Back to this topic, i cant wait for Maxis to announce their packages, damn slownya! maybe they too busy in Indon!

I bet they had been working on this for some time. Maxis is slow this time, surprisingly. Are they too comfortable with their market share right now ?
