Woman passenger thinking: "So hemsome he."

OKT, taking your 1st joy ride on the LRT?

kenot acess la tokkok..

Britain's future leaders were already doing the fuel-conserving thing (in their case, cycling) before they got into power:

Sorry-lah got ask these questions.
1. How did OKT get to the LRT? With riders?
2. Did he and his body guards and PA (if any travelled with him) pay for the ride?
3. If he/they did not can they/he be charged/penalised for not paying?

More questions.
1. Did the riders/his car raced to the LRT where he got down to pick him up?
2. If they did do you think they wasted more petrol (rakyat's money) by doing so?

Sorry retract my questions. he actually cancelled his outriders.

I laughed my head when I read about OKT took LRT in today's Star.

Let's see, tomorrow we shall see Samy Vellu riding a Rapid bus to Batu Caves pix appeared in Nanban and Najib car-pooling with Raifdah to Putrajaya?

Common lah you Putrajaya fakers. You guys can do better than that.

hey... jeff..

that's funny and brilliant. btw, i suggest that you put up another contest for a photo of pak lah and najib that appeared on the star, 7 march 06. please refer to kit siang's blog for the reference.

my suggestions for that,

pak lah: "hey, nice watch lah najib. what brand is that?"

najib:'oooh, i have changed my lifestyle... its no more rolex. i'm adjusting to omega instead."

Mr Naj will not board an LRT or RAPID bus not when he can ride his TANK bought from POLAND. Where got traffic jam? Its a breeze. I am on a "ROLL" along Federal HIghway. WHo needs outriders?

Ok Ke Train????

He probably has lots of free time and not travel at the busy morning at Sentral. Ask him to take Putra from Sentral from 7am to 9am and see how long he has to queue as an ordinary passenger. Also, let see how long is this going to last. I travel by LRT too when i have lots of time to go for a meeting..

Jib: Ong apasal Sami tak ikut show-show?
Ong: Dia gata dia pressure-proof tada olang paksa punya. Lagi gata tiang LRT sama macam MRR2 tada weather-proof.
Jib: Wah duk!
Ong: Yalah, I kanasai.

Toking abt our public transport, how could we be so ignorant to credit our ex transport minister,Tun Ling.
Until today, his golden words are still vividly appear in my mind."Traffic congestion reflects how well our economy is doing",i think i it will be forever in my mind even after Tun Ling goes to see Jesus in the future.
His contribution to M'sia is tremendous. He was beside Tun M to build award winning but empty KLIA,built LRT,Built Rawang-Ipoh bullet train and many other big big projects and all these made M'sia so "Advanced".
Ai Pak lah,you shld capitalize on Tun Ling's expertise on this matter by re-appoint him to run a team that tasked to revamp our public transportation network.
See,he has been invited by Quok, you shld also learn from Quok with no harm on how to make use of smart brains.Last but not least, you must act fast to identify where to find them and how to retain them bafore time's up.

Wow a Malaysian politician taking LRT during off-peak hours want to heboh-heboh? Big deal. London's Mayor, Ken Livingston takes the Underground tube everyday to go to work (and without bodyguards and photograpers).

And Malaysian ppl tax money are wasted for the politicians to do this kind stuff? Shame.....

Man with tie:
"Eh, Datuk! What u doin here on the train?"

OKT:
"Aiyaa.. you know-lah... everyone has to cut down on expenses!"

Man with tie:
"But Datuk... gomen pays everything for u what?"

OKT:
"Aiyaa.. show-show-la! That's why I bring my photographers here with me!"

Bashful lady:
"Wahh... you very smart today Datuk, you travel like this everyday?"

OKT:
"No-lah... usually I have on my Zegna, but today on the train you know-lah!"

Man with moustache:
"Eh Datuk, where is your right-hand man Chan? Shouldn't he be here since he's the Transport Minister?"

OKT:
"Aiyaa.. don't want to say-la... but he can't find the station... shhhh!"

I hope the Malaysian Government will get the public
transport upgrading underway. I for one am really
waiting for this to happen. The Government must do
more to reassure their commitment to the public
towards their objectives in public transportation. Good OKT decided to publicly ride the LRT. I hope he will take note of the following that a disabled wheelchair user may encounter about public transport:

(i) The taxi drivers will stop for me and
not charge me extra for my wheelchair;
(ii) The lifts at Putra LRT do not get blocked with motorcycles parking illegally and not block my path;
(iii) I can use the feeder bus ramp safely when embarking the bus
and disembarking later at another the bus stop;
(iii)I can cross the road safely with gentle ramped curbs so that I can manouvre myself safely and no motorcycle is going to go through the red lights and hit me.

Furthermore, when I need to use STAR LRT and KL
Monorail, will they install lifts so that I can use
the system, and have better choices to travel and use
the transport system.

I want the Government to upgrade the public transport
system but it must be at par with at least what
Singapore is striving for, all wheelchair accessible
buses by 2023 to be done in phases. There must be a
number and set target date for the commitments, and
the budget must take into account the 6-10% of the
population who are disabled (UN estimate) and another
20-25% of people who will be above the age of 60 by 2020. Not counting people carrying heavy luggage, pregnant women and small children.

At the moment the public transportation is excluding
about 35 - 40% of the population. Financially the
upgrading will,in the end, benefit everyone, even the
transport operators and more people will share the
conveniences.

And I will forget about the hike in oil prices.

(I had sent this to STAR editor, but don't know if they want to publish it - note.)

Ooops... Sorry Jeff!

Suppose to submit to "Tokkok" right?

does OKT take LRT to work today?! or is he just show-show that he obeys DPM "tokkok"?

1 trip show... so many reporters and presses do a "promotion" for him for the swk election... WOW~

was his driver waited him at wisma mca?!

OTK pointed his finger to the MAN IN BLACK who forgotten to put on his deodorant: "my bodyguard will inform him what time should be there to pick me up..."

will these VVIPs take LRT to work and to meetings everyday?

INTERNET does not operate in a legal vacuum.
