How dare you English tabloid editors!... ( 2 )
Muslims in Malaysia have reacted to the daring English tabloid editors who work in what Kalimullah Masheerul Hassan postured as the country's newspaper of record.
Bernama says a political party and three NGOs -- The Malaysian Muslim Consumers Association (PPIM), the Peninsular Malay Students Federation (GPMS) and Malaysian Indian Muslim Congress (KIMMA) -- which are under the auspices of the Majlis Angkatan Permuafakatan NGO-NGO Malaysia (MAPAN), have filed police reports. They wanted action to be taken.
PAS Youth chief Salahuddin Ayub is to follow up with a Press Conference at 11.00am today. PAS deputy president Nasharuddin Mat Isa declared PAS will participate in the World Protest Day against the blasphemous caricature of Prophet Muhammad scheduled for Friday, March 3.
It's heard that The NST will defend itself with a reprint of the comic on Page 2 today while The Star and theSun will not run the story despite receiving newsflash from Bernama.

Oi, when everything in the media is going to be super-policed liked this, what else is safe to be printed?

Tiara: I think Jeff is not whistle blowing this to policise NST, but to bring out the double-standards of the media censorship against China Press and Guang Ming Daily. Remember who brought the whole nation going ga-ga with 'Elie the Scammer'? Yeah...your favourite daily NST. Did anyone got sacrificed?
Look at the front page now. Full page cock eye picture and title "Just how deadly it is" which brings a strong vibe: "We ain't chickening out. Instead the deadly chicken is watching y'all those who whistle-blow". Also, they are too good to be sacrificed because they are 'tools for learning English' and 'pictures, cartoons or sports personalities should be used to interest the children'.
Decipher today's NST code all...

PAS wil have a little crdeibility in its fury if they will organise another round of protests. Only this time they should march towards Jalan riong instead of the Danish embassy.
In the mean time as to the rest of you, you should understand that when you dumb citizens give the BN a 90% mandate to rule, then surely you must all agree with double and triple standards on this and every other issue. So what are ou guys complaining about?
Malaysia Boleh!

To make a mistake is human; to do it with knowledge of the lessons learnt by others is stupidity and to ,still, do it despite the aforementioned and yet claimed innocense and then camouflage it with irrelevant claims are incredibly ........
